The ASI Clinical Intensive training program prepares students for the highly in-demand job market of a skilled allied health professional — with hands-on training in drawing blood, performing EKGs, and recording vital signs from day one.
The Clinical Intensive program is designed to expose the student to all aspects of medical assisting, including phlebotomy, EKG, patient care, anatomy & physiology, and medical terminology. Throughout the program, students gain practical, real-world classroom experience in drawing blood, performing EKGs, and recording vital signs — the core skills of a working medical assistant.
Successful students qualify to challenge three national certification exams — plus a certificate of proficiency awarded by ASI.
